Three major overpasses are planned to be constructed in the Andijan region by 2027. This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting held on September 24.

According to the head of state, the new overpasses will be erected at the intersections of Milliy Tiklanish and Navoi streets, Uzbekistan and Bobur streets, as well as at the intersection of Amir Temur Street and the new ring road. These projects aim to improve urban infrastructure and ease traffic flow.

In addition, a bridge bypassing the center of Asaka district will be commissioned. The president also mentioned this in his speech.

The day before, on September 23, the president inspected a bridge connecting two parts of Bobur Avenue near the railway station. The cost of this project amounted to 271 billion soums. This bridge is of great importance for intra-city traffic.

The construction of new overpasses is being carried out to develop the transport system of the Andijan region and create convenience for the population. These projects are expected to have a positive impact on the region's economy.
