The Almazor District Court, presided over by Judge Alisher Turgunov, heard the case of a preventive inspector who organized a drug lab in official housing.
According to investigation materials, B.T., born in 1995, worked as a preventive inspector from 2019 and as a neighborhood inspector for "Shon-shuhrat" from 2023. In April 2025, via Telegram, he was hired as a "dead drop" courier by a person selling synthetic drugs. Until September, he received batches of the substance, packaged and distributed them, receiving compensation in cryptocurrency.
Later, under instructions from a supervisor, he set up a lab in the official house to produce mephedrone. He obtained equipment and instructions online. For each "dead drop," he was transferred up to $1,500 in cryptocurrency. From July 27 to September 27, 2025, $10,831 was deposited into his crypto wallet.
On September 27, 2025, during an operational measure conducted by State Security Service and Customs Committee officers, the inspector was detained. A search of the official house seized 335 units of equipment, 10.5 kg of "Alpha-PVP," 4 g of "Spice," and 588 g of liquid substance. At his permanent home in Tashkent District, an additional 430 g of "Alpha-PVP" was found.
In court, B.T. pleaded guilty, stating he committed the crime in an attempt to earn "easy money." According to him, he initially responded to an ad for cargo transportation but was later drawn into the drug scheme and continued the activity under threats of exposure.
By court verdict, B.T. was found guilty under Articles 25, 273 Part 5, and 278-8 Part 3(a) of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment.
