According to Turkish media reports, during the investigation into Durdona Hakimova's murder, police determined that there was another victim in the same apartment in Umraniye — 32-year-old Sayyora Ergashaliyeva. The investigation's version suggests she was killed earlier and also dismembered.

It is reported that Sayyora Ergashaliyeva has been listed as missing since January 23.

Police re-examined surveillance camera footage near the house where the women lived with the suspects.

The footage shows the suspects carrying black plastic bags out of the apartment on different days. It was also recorded that they took out a white suitcase, got into a taxi, and headed to the Sisli district, where they also discarded it in a trash container.

According to the investigation's version, the chronology of the crimes may have been as follows: Sayyora Ergashaliyeva was killed first, followed by Durdona Hakimova. Currently, it is being determined how these murders are connected.

Surveillance camera recordings allowed for the reconstruction of the following sequence of events:

— On January 23, Sayyora Ergashaliyeva entered the apartment in Umraniye.

— Two male suspects followed her into the same apartment.

— On January 24, the suspects left the apartment several times with black bags. Later, they took out a white suitcase, got into a taxi, and went to the Sisli district. There, the suitcase was thrown into a trash container. Preliminary information indicates that parts of Durdona Hakimova's body were in this suitcase.

According to local media reports, after these findings were discovered, the suspects were re-interrogated and confessed to killing Sayyora Ergashaliyeva in the same manner — with a knife — before dismembering the body and discarding the parts in various trash containers.

This information has spread in Turkish media and pertains to the investigation's version, which has not been confirmed by official documents. As of now, no official statements from Turkish police or prosecutors regarding the second victim have been published.

Earlier, it was reported that Sayyora Ergashaliyeva was missing and that her relatives were searching for her.

On January 24, a headless body was found in a trash container in the Sisli district, in the Ferikoy neighborhood of Istanbul. It was established that it belongs to a 37-year-old Uzbek citizen. It was emphasized that she was killed by other individuals from Uzbekistan. According to local publications, the killers dismembered the body, placed it in a suitcase, and dumped it in a landfill. Other body parts were found in another trash container. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul confirmed that the victim is Durdona Hakimova. Two Uzbek citizens have been detained in connection with this case. They were detained while attempting to fly from Turkey to Georgia on a flight.

The murder of Durdona Hakimova sparked protests in Istanbul and Ankara.
