After conducting preventive work to reduce the risk of avalanches, vehicle traffic through the Kamchik Pass has been restored, but it may be closed again by evening.

The Emergency Ministry, in collaboration with relevant agencies, carried out necessary preventive measures to address the avalanche threat on the pass. According to forecasts, around 19:00, the avalanche risk may increase, so traffic could be suspended again.

Drivers and passengers are asked to check current information on traffic conditions through official sources before departure. Previously, traffic through the pass had been temporarily suspended due to avalanche danger.
