According to the National Committee on Statistics, as of February 1, 2026, there are 18,513 enterprises with foreign investment operating in Uzbekistan. The leaders in the number of established companies are China, Russia, and Turkey.

It is noted that out of the total number of enterprises with foreign investment, 4,282 are joint ventures, and 14,231 are foreign enterprises.

The top three are: China — 5,218 enterprises, Russia — 3,190, and Turkey — 2,149 enterprises.

Other high-ranking countries include Kazakhstan (1,221), South Korea (699), Afghanistan (647), the United Arab Emirates (413), Tajikistan (410), India (394), and Azerbaijan (368).

Statistics show that over the past 5 years, the number of enterprises with foreign investment has increased by 1.9 times. The share of foreign enterprises has risen from 55.1 percent to 76.9 percent.

Experts believe these indicators reflect an improvement in the investment climate in the country and increased activity by foreign investors.
