A series of earthquakes continues in Uzbekistan's Bukhara region. The latest tremors occurred on May 22 at 10:15 local time. The epicenter, as in previous cases, was located in the Jondor district.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8 and a depth of 15 kilometers. The epicenter is approximately 525 kilometers southwest of Tashkent.

The intensity of the tremors in the region was felt as follows: in Gazli — 2–3 points, in Peshku district — 2 points, in Karakul district — 2 points.

Earlier that night, a stronger earthquake of magnitude 4 at a depth of 10 kilometers was recorded in the same area. Tremors were felt in the same districts.

Seismic activity was also recorded in the same area on May 20 and 21. Specialists continue to monitor the situation.
