A court in the Bektemir district of Tashkent has heard a case against 38-year-old Sh.T., accused of harassing a patient, M.A., in a city clinic, reports UzNews.uz correspondent, citing the court decision.

According to case materials, on June 10, 2026, Sh.T., while in the clinic elevator where he worked, made remarks affecting M.A.'s honor and dignity and touched her hands and body.

It is reported that later her health deteriorated, and she contacted the clinic management to report the incident.

During the court hearing, Sh.T. did not admit guilt. He claimed that the victim came to the clinic for accommodation and treatment, and his actions were purely professional, related to organizing the patient's stay.

In court, the victim said she had made an audio recording of that conversation.

The court found Sh.T. guilty under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Uzbekistan (Sexual Harassment) and sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest.
