Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. The territory of the former 'Pioneer' park on Afrosiab Street, which has been closed to visitors for many years, is planned to be opened to residents of the capital and turned into a modern public space.

The decision to develop this area was discussed during a working tour of city facilities led by the head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva.

In addition to the former 'Pioneer' park, the tour also considered the renovation of Sayilgoh Street, Amir Temur Avenue and adjacent areas, as well as the expansion of the Babur Ecopark and the Mirzo Ulugbek Park.

According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, Tashkent is actively developing, but there are still not enough green areas in the city. Therefore, creating new parks and greening the capital are defined as one of the main priorities.

It is planned to create conditions for comfortable recreation for residents on the territory of the former park. Overall, the projects aim to restore Tashkent's status as a green city, increase the number of open spaces for walking, and develop a convenient and safe urban environment.
