According to the updated FIDE rankings for chess federations in the open category, Uzbekistan has secured the 8th position, climbing one spot compared to the July ranking.
The average rating of the country's top ten chess players reached 2626 points, reflecting the strength and depth of Uzbekistan's chess school.
The United States leads the ranking with an average of 2723 points, followed by India with 2705 points and China with 2663 points.
To consolidate this achievement, Uzbekistan needs to continue nurturing young talents and increasing participation in international tournaments, ensuring sustained growth in the global chess arena.
