A solemn farewell ceremony was held in the Samarkand region for Captain Boburmirzo Pardaev, commander of a group of the Special Rescue Battalion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who died in the line of duty during a fire in Tashkent.
The officer's family, relatives, ministry leadership, and hundreds of colleagues gathered to pay their last respects. The coffin was carried to the cemetery to the sounds of a military orchestra, where the hero was buried with full honors.
The tragedy occurred on the night of August 15 in the Uchtepa district of the capital, where a residential building caught fire. Emergency workers managed to evacuate residents, but Pardaev lost his life during the rescue operation.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Captain Pardaev remained dedicated to his duty until the very end, saving lives. His bravery will forever be remembered by his colleagues and all citizens of Uzbekistan. Local authorities have pledged full support to the family of the deceased.
