Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 17 inspected the work of the new complex of Tilllo Domor company in Urgench district. The $11 million enterprise processes local raw materials and produces more than 70 types of dairy products, ranging from traditional katyk and kefir to cheese, cottage cheese, cream, and sour cream.

The line is equipped with technological equipment from Bulgaria. The plant's capacity allows producing finished goods worth 100 billion soums per year. Raw materials for processing arrive daily: the enterprise has already formed a permanent network of suppliers from more than 100 farms and private households in the region.

The production site also implements alternative energy solutions – solar panels with a capacity of 100 kW have been installed on its territory.

Currently, 120 people work at the enterprise. In the future, the staff is planned to be increased by another 100 employees in parallel with the expansion of the product line.

The head of state emphasized the need to deepen the processing of agricultural raw materials and gave instructions to relevant managers to support such projects. In total, about 1,200 processing enterprises are registered in the Khorezm region today.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities of Uzbekistan intend to allocate $463 million for the development of livestock farming. The funds will be used to restore idle enterprises, increase meat and milk production, import breeding cattle, and introduce digital technologies in the industry.
