President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has unveiled new initiatives aimed at simplifying the process of acquiring state assets for entrepreneurs. The head of state emphasized that thousands of hectares of vacant land and inefficiently used state property only gain real value when they are transformed into projects that create jobs and boost exports.
Under the new rules, the advance payment for purchasing state assets will be reduced from 30% to 15%. Additionally, those who fully pay for the property within six months will receive a 25% discount.
Entrepreneurs who pay half of the amount will be able to pay the remaining balance in installments without interest over a period of 7 years. This is expected to significantly reduce the financial burden on businesses.
Furthermore, the starting price of state property that remains unsold for three months will be gradually reduced by up to 10%. The duration of auctions will also be halved, making the process faster and more convenient for investors.
These measures are designed to accelerate the privatization of state assets, expand private sector participation in the economy, and improve the investment climate in the country. According to the president, these reforms are a crucial step toward stimulating economic growth and ensuring employment.
