Tursunxon Ja'farova was born in August 1915 in Namangan region. Her artistic journey began in 1931 at the Namangan Regional Musical Drama and Comedy Theater, where she quickly showcased her exceptional talent.

From 1941, she continued her career at the Muqimiy Theater. She played leading roles in renowned productions such as "Nodira," "Layli and Majnun," "Halima," "Gulsara," and "Toshbolta Oshiq," leaving a lasting impression on audiences.

Her film debut came in 1959 with "Second Spring." Five years later, in 1964, she appeared in "Yor-Yor." Between 1969 and 1972, she acted in "Street of Thirteen Poplars" and "Shashmaqom."

In 1986-1989, Ja'farova starred in "Sherali and Oybarchin" and "Diamond Belt." She also featured in comedies like "Return My Grandmother" and "Revolt of the Daughters-in-Law." Her contributions earned her the title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan.

Tursunxon Ja'farova passed away in 1997, but her legacy endures. The newspaper has prepared a special quiz based on her films, aiming to introduce her work to younger generations.
