Law enforcement authorities in Fergana have seized a large consignment of the potent drug Regapen, with an estimated total value of 144 million soums. The operation was conducted by officers of the Fergana city department together with other law enforcement agencies.

According to the press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, during a search of the home of a resident of the Beshbola mahalla, 1,120 packages of the drug were discovered. The medication was confiscated as material evidence.

A criminal case has been initiated under the article on illegal storage of potent substances. Investigative actions are ongoing.

Earlier, a large consignment of narcotics and potent drugs was intercepted in Kokand. The detained individual was found in possession of 2.4 kilograms of hashish and 5,600 tablets of Regapen.
