During a recent inspection tour of the developing New Tashkent satellite city by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, authorities announced substantial reductions in infrastructure fees for business entities. The policy shift is officially designed to stimulate the rapid construction of hotels, commercial centers, tourism infrastructure, and social facilities within the ambitious urban project.

Under the newly proposed framework, baseline fees for retail, service, and business centers will be slashed by a factor of three. For hotels and tourism-related infrastructure, the reduction will reach fivefold, while cultural and entertainment venues are set to benefit from a tenfold decrease in payments. Furthermore, private kindergartens, schools, and hospitals will face a nominal fee amounting to just one percent of the standard baseline rate.

Officials noted that these revised rules will apply retroactively to investment projects where construction has already commenced. In addition, unique architectural projects developed by leading international design firms will be subjected to accelerated administrative procedures, aiming to bypass standard bureaucratic hurdles and delays.

The government initiatives also encompass plans to shorten the overall timelines for architectural design, construction execution, and facility commissioning, alongside placing strict limits on redundant data requests directed at entrepreneurs. These economic incentives complement the broader development goals for New Tashkent, which include commissioning over 20,000 residential units for at least 70,000 residents by the end of 2026, alongside constructing a 55,000-seat stadium and new ministerial headquarters.
