Nilufar Allabergenova has been officially dismissed from her position as the khokim (head) of the Yakkasaroy district in Tashkent due to a transfer to another job. The capital's administration press service confirmed the transition, though comprehensive reasons behind the sudden leadership shift remain undisclosed by official channels.

Allabergenova was originally appointed to the post on October 9, 2023, marking a notable milestone as the first female ever to serve as district khokim in Tashkent. Born in Tashkent in 1971, she graduated from the Tashkent State Law Institute in 1995 and built an extensive career working as a deputy prosecutor across several districts of the capital, alongside serving as the prosecutor of the Yakkasaroy district.

According to reports from local sources, a new candidate for the vacant mayoral seat was scheduled for consideration. The prospective nominee is Akmal Muradovich Jumabaev, who has been serving as the first deputy khokim of the Sergeli district for finance, economics, and poverty reduction.

Born in 1987 in the Tashkent region's Parkent district, Jumabaev is a graduate of the Tashkent Automobile and Road Institute. His background includes heading the Tashkent city council of the Youth Union, serving as the first deputy chairman and chairman of the organization's central council, and acting as a local deputy in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district. His candidacy is still subject to formal approval by the local district council of people's deputies.
