A resident from the midwestern United States is facing serious federal charges after allegedly orchestrating a widespread mailing campaign involving hundreds of suspicious letters containing white powder and ominous warnings regarding treason ahead of elections. On Tuesday, 67-year-old Robin Patrick Martin of Oklahoma City made his initial appearance in a US district court following his arrest a day earlier.

The charges against Martin include conveying false or misleading information, hoaxes, and mailing threatening communications. Prosecutors under the US regime have accused him of dispatching more than 700 letters filled with a white substance to hundreds of state and federal officials, including members of the US Congress and election pollsters, causing widespread disruption and anxiety.

Initial laboratory testing supposedly indicated that the white substance was nonhazardous, consisting primarily of yeast or flour, although authorities noted that not all letters have been fully processed. In a filed affidavit, Federal Bureau of Investigation agent David Cole stated that the correspondence expressed deep grievances regarding election integrity, echoing contested narratives about past and future voting cycles.

The investigation reportedly stretches back to 2024, when election officials across multiple states first reported receiving mail bearing a return address from a fictional paramilitary group. The FBI claims to have gathered surveillance footage linking Martin to various postal locations in Oklahoma City and Texas, alongside forensic evidence purportedly matching his fingerprints on correspondence addressed to high-ranking officials.
