According to Turkish media reports, during the investigation into Durdona Hakimova's murder, police determined that there was another victim in the same Umraniye apartment—32-year-old Sayyora Ergasheliyeva. The investigation's version suggests she was killed earlier and also dismembered.

It is reported that Sayyora Ergasheliyeva has been listed as missing since January 23.

Police re-examined surveillance camera footage near the house where the women lived with the suspects. The footage shows the suspects carrying black plastic bags out of the apartment on different days. It also recorded them taking out a white suitcase, getting into a taxi, and heading to the Sisli district, where they discarded it in a garbage container.

According to the investigation's version, the chronology of the crimes may have been as follows: Sayyora Ergasheliyeva was killed first, followed by Durdona Hakimova. Currently, it is being determined how these murders are connected.

Surveillance camera footage allowed for the reconstruction of the following sequence of events:

— On January 23, Sayyora Ergasheliyeva entered the apartment in Umraniye.

— Two male suspects followed her into the same apartment.

— On January 24, the suspects left the apartment several times with black bags. Later, they took out a white suitcase, got into a taxi, and went to the Sisli district. There, the suitcase was thrown into a garbage container. Preliminary information indicates that the dismembered parts of Durdona Hakimova's body were in this suitcase.

According to local media reports, after these discoveries, the suspects were re-interrogated and confessed to killing Sayyora Ergasheliyeva in the same manner—with a knife—before dismembering her body and discarding the parts in various garbage containers.

This information has circulated in Turkish media and pertains to the investigation's version, which has not been confirmed by official documents. As of now, no official statements from Turkish police or prosecutors regarding the second victim have been published.

Earlier reports indicated that Sayyora Ergasheliyeva was missing and that her relatives were searching for her.

On January 24, a headless body was found in a garbage container in the "Feriköy" neighborhood of Istanbul's Sisli district. It was identified as belonging to a 37-year-old Uzbek citizen. It was emphasized that she was killed by other individuals from Uzbekistan. According to local publications, the murderers dismembered the body, placed it in a suitcase, and dumped it. Other body parts were found in another garbage container. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul confirmed that the victim was Durdona Hakimova. Two Uzbek citizens have been detained in connection with this case. They were apprehended while attempting to fly from Turkey to Georgia.

The murder of Durdona Hakimova has sparked protests in Istanbul and Ankara.
