Following preventive work to reduce avalanche risks, vehicle traffic through Kamchik Pass has been restored, but it may be closed again by evening.

The Emergency Ministry, in collaboration with relevant agencies, conducted necessary preventive measures to address avalanche threats on the pass. According to forecasts, around 19:00, avalanche risks may intensify, so traffic could be suspended once more.

Drivers and passengers are urged to check current information on traffic conditions through official sources before departure. Previously, movement through the pass had been temporarily halted due to avalanche danger.
