President Mirziyoyev reviewed the implementation of a high-tech project by Vades Group in the Ahangaran district. The facility plans to produce microprocessor modules for identification, SIM cards, as well as transport, social, and international payment cards.

In Ahangaran, Vades Group is implementing a project to establish high-tech manufacturing. The project will involve the production of microprocessor modules for identification systems and SIM cards, along with transport, social, and international payment cards.

The project is being carried out in accordance with the tasks outlined in the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated January 22, 2025, "On Additional Measures to Advance the Electrical Engineering Industry to a New Stage of Development." The enterprise will manufacture products necessary for the implementation of digital government services and the formation of convenient and secure payment systems for the population.

The plant is being built in collaboration with the German company Infineon Technologies within the Eltech Industrial technopark. The total cost of the project is $15 million. Currently, the second phase of construction is 15% complete, with $7 million in investments utilized.

The 4-hectare complex, upon full launch, will create approximately 100 new jobs and enable exports worth up to $6 million.

It is reported that in 2025, $35 million worth of microprocessor modules, SIM cards, and various payment cards were imported into the country. After the enterprise reaches full capacity, it is planned to replace $5 million in imports, and the cost of products on the domestic market could decrease by 3–5%.

The enterprise's products are planned to be exported to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, and Cambodia.

During the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the production processes and conditions being created, and gave instructions on implementing innovative approaches, improving the qualifications of local personnel, and expanding export potential.
