After preventive work to reduce the risk of avalanches, traffic through the Kamchik Pass has been restored, but it may be closed again by evening.

The Emergency Ministry, in collaboration with relevant agencies, conducted necessary preventive measures to eliminate the threat of avalanches on the pass. According to forecasts, around 19:00, the avalanche risk may intensify, so traffic could be suspended again.

Drivers and passengers are asked to check current information on traffic conditions through official sources before departure. Previously, traffic through the pass had been temporarily suspended due to avalanche danger.
