According to the National Committee on Statistics, as of February 1, 2026, there are 18,513 enterprises with foreign investment operating in Uzbekistan. The leaders in the number of companies established are China, Russia, and Turkey.

It is noted that out of the total number of foreign-invested enterprises, 4,282 are joint ventures, and 14,231 are foreign enterprises.

The top three are: China with 5,218 enterprises, Russia with 3,190, and Turkey with 2,149 enterprises.

Other high-ranking countries include Kazakhstan (1,221), South Korea (699), Afghanistan (647), the United Arab Emirates (413), Tajikistan (410), India (394), and Azerbaijan (368).

Statistics show that over the past 5 years, the number of foreign-invested enterprises has increased by 1.9 times. The share of foreign enterprises has risen from 55.1 percent to 76.9 percent.

Experts believe these indicators reflect an improvement in the investment climate in the country and increased activity by foreign investors.
