"Against the backdrop of all past events, I consider it important to note: I do not serve one or two individuals, I serve the state and the people. I have decided to resign voluntarily," he stated.

According to Turg'unbek uulu, he will continue working as a member of parliament.

"I want to emphasize that I have never worked for one or two people, always acting in the interests of the country and the Kyrgyz people. Throughout this time, I have contributed to making important and necessary decisions. I am not going anywhere; I will work as a deputy. We must learn to work without intrigues to preserve political stability," he stressed.

The Speaker also reported that a parliamentary delegation recently returned from Turkey, where a productive working visit took place.

Earlier, media reports suggested the possible resignation of the head of the parliament after his return from Turkey. These reports emerged against the backdrop of the resignation of the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchibek Tashiyev.
