Kyrgyzstan's TezJet airline has been stripped of its flight license following an incident involving damaged landing gear on one of its aircraft. An inspection revealed serious violations that could have endangered passenger safety.

The decision was made by the State Civil Aviation Agency of the republic. Authorities stated that if an airline's operations are dangerous, measures will be strict, regardless of its experience or size.

The incident occurred on July 7: a TezJet plane was unable to depart on the Bishkek-Osh route due to a landing gear malfunction. There were 181 people on board, including 18 children. No injuries were reported.
