The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the region. The total length of the route is about 480 kilometers, of which more than 304 kilometers pass through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
The new railway corridor is expected to become the southern link of the Eurasian Continental Bridge, opening access to the markets of Southeast Asia, West Asia, and the Middle East. This route will be able to deliver cargo from China to Kyrgyzstan, as well as to Central Asian and Middle Eastern countries, including Turkey and further to the European Union.
