A video circulating on social media shows a man and a woman entering the stairwell of a residential building in Tashkent and allegedly consuming illegal substances. The footage sparked widespread outrage among users. Law enforcement agencies responded promptly and took appropriate action.

According to the press service of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident occurred on April 29 at approximately 2:35 PM. A 39-year-old man and his 25-year-old acquaintance entered the stairwell of a multi-story building and, taking advantage of the absence of others, consumed drugs.

As a result of operational measures, the identities of the individuals were established, and they were detained. During interrogation, both participants confirmed the fact of drug use.

Currently, a pre-investigation check is being conducted on this fact. Law enforcement officials remind citizens of the importance of vigilance: it is recommended not to leave entrance doors open and to immediately report any suspicious persons to the authorities.

Earlier, a drunk man was seen walking with a knife in a stairwell of a residential building in Tashkent and banging on apartment doors.
