๏ธ Law enforcement agencies in Uzbekistan have confiscated nearly 21,000 units of potent pharmaceutical drugs and over 300 grams of narcotics following a series of coordinated special operations in the Namangan and Fergana regions. The operations involved personnel from the State Security Service, Border Troops, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office, and customs authorities.

๏ธ In the first incident, a Spark vehicle driven by a 43-year-old local resident was stopped in Kokand, where officers discovered 9,900 units of the strong drug "Zardex" during a search of the car's interior. The drugs were seized as material evidence. In a separate case, a Cobalt car operated by a 30-year-old resident of Kuvasay was intercepted at a traffic police checkpoint in the Pap district of Namangan region. According to investigative data, the man was allegedly involved in smuggling potent medicines from a neighboring country and delivering them to accomplices in Tashkent. A search of the vehicle revealed 8,000 units of "Zardex" and 309 grams of hashish hidden in secret compartments.

๏ธ Another incident was recorded in the Bagdad district of Fergana region, where authorities seized 1,700 units of the potent drug "Regapen" from a 34-year-old Kokand resident driving a Nexia car. Additionally, in the Fergana district, a 25-year-old local resident was detained for selling 1,300 units of "Regapen" for 56 million Uzbek som through intermediaries.

๏ธ Criminal cases have been initiated under Articles 251-1, 246, and 273 of the Criminal Code in connection with all these incidents. The suspects have been taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing. Previously, in Tashkent, a man was arrested for repackaging the strong drug "Regapen" into containers labeled as dietary supplements to facilitate covert sales through pharmacies.
