️ The leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan reached significant agreements to enhance regional integration and economic cooperation during a meeting in Tashkent. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed documents aimed at elevating bilateral relations to a strategic partnership, increasing trade turnover, and developing transport-logistics corridors.

️ During the meeting, the leaders emphasized the need to strengthen stability and mutually beneficial cooperation in the Central Asian region. According to Mirziyoyev, "Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan play a key role in defining the main directions of regional development." Tokayev, in turn, set a goal to increase trade between the two countries to $10 billion by 2025.

️ Under the agreements, plans include expanding cooperation in energy, agriculture, tourism, and culture, as well as implementing joint projects in border regions. Analysts view these initiatives as a step toward boosting Central Asia's economic and political independence, though the implementation process may face challenges.

️ Following the signing of the treaties, the leaders of the two countries highlighted the necessity of developing cooperation with other regional states, including Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. However, the long-term effectiveness of regional integration remains dependent on factors such as infrastructure, bureaucratic barriers, and external political pressures.
