️ In Tashkent, a vehicle driven by a juvenile driver caused a serious road traffic incident after attempting to flee from traffic police officers, disregarding their lawful demands to stop. On March 1 at 01:10, during a raid in the Chilanzar district, a Lacetti car without state license plates was detected moving at high speed. Traffic police officers called for the driver to stop, but he did not comply and instead increased speed, continuing to move in an effort to escape.
️ During the escape, the driver moved on the opposite side of the road and collided with a Cobalt car, posing a risk to the life and health of other road users. He attempted to hide along the Minor Ring Road and Dumbirobod Street, but later collided with another vehicle, left the accident scene, and continued driving. As a result of measures taken, the car was stopped on Bogishamol Street in the Yunusabad district.
️ Inside the car, there were two juveniles and one adult citizen, and the driver turned out to be a teenager born in 2009. It was revealed that he took the car, which belongs to his father, without permission. An investigation has been conducted prior to criminal proceedings regarding this incident, and the collected documents have been sent to the Yunusabad district prosecutor's office for legal decision-making.
️ This incident recalls a recent case in Tashkent where a BMW M4 car, driven by a juvenile driver, hit and killed traffic police inspector Khasilbek Eshnazarov. In that incident, a 16-year-old school student is suspected of car theft and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, highlighting growing concerns about juvenile involvement in road violations and vehicle operation.
