According to the press service of the Ecology Department of Surkhandarya Region, special water containers have been placed at strategic points in the 'Zevor' section of the 'Yuqori Tupalang' National Nature Park. These measures are designed to enable rapid response to potential fires, extinguish blazes at early stages, and preserve the region's unique natural environment, as part of ongoing efforts to mitigate risks in protected areas.

The established water reserves will help safeguard rare plant and animal species, as well as protected green zones, from fire threats. This initiative underscores the continuous work by local authorities and ecological services to enhance safety and biodiversity conservation amid growing climatic challenges in the region.

It is worth recalling that during the winter, ecologists conducted biotechnical work in Uzbekistan's protected natural territories to support wild animals during periods of natural food scarcity. The new fire safety measures complement these efforts, reflecting a comprehensive approach to environmental protection in the country.
