A ceremony was held in Tashkent to launch a joint project with Gustave Roussy, one of the world's leading oncology centers. From now on, the Republican Center of Oncology and Radiology will operate under the brand Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan, adopting international standards of treatment and management.

The event was attended by Uzbekistan's Minister of Health Eldor Adilov, Gustave Roussy CEO Fabrice Barlesi, international experts, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, and oncology specialists.

Ambassadors also joined: French Ambassador to Uzbekistan Walid Fouque in person, and Uzbekistan's Ambassador to France Nodir Ganiev online.

The project aims to introduce international clinical protocols, develop modern cancer diagnostics and treatment methods, improve hospital management systems, and enhance patient care quality.

Since May 20, 2026, the Republican Oncology Center officially operates under the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan brand, marking a new stage of integration into global oncology practice.

Under the partnership, by 2030, 100 Uzbek surgeons will undergo training at leading French medical centers.
