Uzbekistan exported cherries to 11 countries worth $36.5 million in January-May 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee. Total shipments amounted to nearly 16,800 tons.

However, export volumes fell by 4,100 tons compared to the same period last year, indicating a decline in supply.

Russia remained the largest buyer, importing 11,700 tons. Kyrgyzstan ranked second with 2,600 tons, followed by Kazakhstan with 2,000 tons.

Additional exports included 135.3 tons to Belarus, 116.7 tons to the UAE, and 140 tons to other countries.

Last summer, Uzbekistan was among the top exporters of strawberries and cherries to Russia.
