Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. In the first six months of 2026, internal affairs officers located 2,633 people who had been listed as missing.

This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Ashropov. According to him, the search operations not only helped find the missing individuals but also prevented various negative consequences.

Earlier, the body of a 17-year-old boy was found in the Karadarya River in the Balykchi district of Andijan region. The teenager had been missing for four days before being discovered.
