In the first half of 2026, the State Labor Inspectorate under the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction received 1,495 complaints from citizens who suddenly discovered they were officially employed somewhere without their knowledge, the press service reported.

As a result of inspections, administrative and criminal measures were taken against the heads of 143 enterprises and organizations. Another 56 organizations received official written orders.

Some fictitious employers had already liquidated by the time of the inspections. Specialists had to manually clean the Unified National Labor System, removing false records accumulated from 2020 to 2025.

The ministry strongly recommends that citizens regularly check their employment status. If they find unauthorized employment, they should immediately contact the Labor Inspectorate via short number 1176 or the Telegram bot @munosibmehnat_bot.
