The 'Chinor' station of the Tashkent Metro, which was closed for reconstruction on June 13 for a planned 50 days, has reopened 4 days early. Starting from 05:00 on July 29, the station resumed passenger services.

According to the Tashkent Metro authorities, the reconstruction involved expanding the station's entrance and exit areas. The number of turnstiles was increased from 6 to 13, significantly boosting passenger flow capacity.

Additionally, the pedestrian corridors that previously caused inconvenience were redesigned. Now, passengers can transfer directly between stations, saving time and improving the overall travel experience.

Before reconstruction, the station served an average of 15,000 passengers daily. With the upgrades, its capacity has increased to 35,000–40,000 passengers per day, more than doubling its previous throughput.
