Foreign military publications have reported a possible delivery of four additional Chinese multirole J-10CE fighters to Uzbekistan. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed.

According to Defence Security Asia, this could be the second batch under a contract for 24 fighters from China. Initial reports emerged in spring 2025, but the specific model was not disclosed at that time.

French defense outlet Meta-Defense noted that without official statements or independent satellite imagery, it is premature to discuss a new batch. Analysts believe Uzbekistan's interest stems from the need to upgrade its aging fleet of Soviet-era MiG-29 and Su-27 aircraft.

The J-10CE is a modern 4++ generation multirole fighter equipped with an active electronically scanned array radar and is a key export model of China's aviation industry.

A potential purchase would continue Uzbekistan's trend of expanding military-technical cooperation with China. Previously, in 2015, the country acquired Chinese HQ-9B, FM-90, and KS-1C air defense systems. Reports of the new J-10CE batch remain unconfirmed.
