A 22-year-old man, identified as Kh.M., has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest and fined 5 base calculation units (BRV) by a court in Tashkent for multiple administrative offenses. The incident occurred on August 4 at approximately 5:30 AM near Dustlik Park in the Yashnabad district.
According to court documents, the man was consuming alcohol in a public place when he committed indecent acts of a sexual nature against an elderly woman. When he attempted to flee the scene, he was detained by bystanders and handed over to police officers, whose lawful demands he also refused to comply with.
During the court hearing, the offender fully admitted his guilt, expressed remorse, and requested a lighter sentence. However, after reviewing the case materials, including witness statements, the administrative protocol, and other evidence, the court concluded that his guilt was fully proven.
The court classified his actions under Article 183 (petty hooliganism), Part 2 of Article 187 (repeated consumption of alcohol in public places within a year), and Part 1 of Article 194 (failure to comply with lawful demands of police officers) of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
The court sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest and a fine equivalent to 5 BRV. This case highlights the importance of maintaining public order and respecting the dignity of others in public spaces.
