A fire broke out in shops located near the 'Izza' market in the 'Tokzor' neighborhood of Zangiota district, Tashkent region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported the incident.
The alert was received at the MES duty station at 12:29 PM on August 6. Rescue teams were promptly dispatched to the scene, and firefighting operations began.
The fire was contained by 1:48 PM and fully extinguished by 2:09 PM. According to preliminary data, the fire damaged approximately 400 square meters of the shops.
The Ministry stated that no casualties were reported as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
It is worth recalling that in February of this year, a fire also occurred at the 'Izza' market in shops selling construction materials. At that time, the Ministry reported that a pre-fire inspection had revealed numerous violations of fire safety rules at the market.
