A 42-year-old man has been detained in the Andijan region for allegedly demanding $10,000 in exchange for helping to obtain a license and other permits to open a private kindergarten.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the man promised a resident of the Balykchi district to arrange the necessary documents through acquaintances who supposedly hold high positions. The kindergarten was planned to be opened in the same district.

The suspect was arrested in the 'Mustakillik' neighborhood in Andijan while receiving $5,000 of the agreed amount. The money was seized as evidence.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact. The man has been detained, and the preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, it was reported that two cases of land fraud were suppressed in Tashkent and Andijan. In one of them, a woman demanded $160,000 for a plot from the state reserve, promising to arrange it through acquaintances in the cadastral system.
