In Namangan Region, authorities discovered two warehouses storing 32,600 packs of medicines and medical devices intended for sale, with a total value of 502.7 million soums.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Mingbulak District Department together with other law enforcement agencies. According to the department, a previously convicted man and his accomplices organized the warehouses in the Boburshoh and Porlok mahallas.

In total, law enforcement found 485 product items. Some of the medicines and medical devices were not registered in the state register and lacked conformity certificates, while some drugs had expired. The entire batch was seized as material evidence.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 276 (“Storage for sale, transportation, and sale of low-quality or counterfeit medicines and medical devices, as well as trading them outside pharmacies”). Investigative actions are underway.

Earlier, it was reported that another warehouse with 13,200 packs of medicines of 56 types, worth 577.4 million soums, was found in Namangan.
