President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that thanks to the ongoing policies, living conditions have improved for approximately 10 million people. He made this statement during a meeting dedicated to social development.

To support needy families, the 'mahallabay' work system has been introduced, covering income, employment, health, children's education, and housing conditions. This system allows for targeted solutions to each family's problems.

The head of state also noted that more than 650,000 families have received modern housing. This is a practical result of efforts to improve the standard of living of the population.

Over the past ten years, preschool education coverage has reached 78%, and an additional 1.5 million student places have been created in schools. The number of university students has grown to 1.6 million, with more than half being women.

Significant changes have also occurred in the healthcare sector. According to the president, funding for the industry has increased more than eightfold in recent years, 652 new medical facilities have been built, and the volume of medical services has tripled.

Average life expectancy has increased from 66.4 years in 1991 to 75.4 years in 2025, while maternal and infant mortality rates have decreased fourfold. These indicators demonstrate the effectiveness of healthcare reforms.
