Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Uzbekistan's national cycling team has kicked off its campaign at the Asian Track Cycling Cup stage in Bangkok, Thailand, with two gold medals on the first day of competition.

Sergey Rostovtsev won the scratch race, while Samira Ismailova posted the best time in the individual pursuit, bringing top honors to the national squad.

Earlier, Rostovtsev had secured two medals at the IV Budapest GP international tournament in Hungary, winning the points race and taking silver in the scratch.

Just a few days prior, he had also claimed three medals at the "GP Slovak Cycling Federation" international track event held from August 7-9 in Presov, Slovakia.
