A Chinese-made CR200J electric train will soon begin operating between Tashkent and Andijan. Currently, test runs are being conducted on the route, according to the Tashkent Regional Railway Hub enterprise.

The new train covers the distance in just 4 hours. For comparison, the current journey between the cities takes 6 to 7 hours. This will provide significant convenience for passengers.

The CR200J electric train can carry approximately 400 passengers and reach speeds of up to 160 km/h. The modern train will offer passengers a high level of comfort and speed.

A similar train was recently delivered to the Khorezm region, where it operates between Urgench Airport and Khiva. This is expected to boost the country's tourism potential.
