The leadership of Uzbekistan has instructed the initiation of the relocation process for all remaining ministries and state organizations to the burgeoning satellite city of New Tashkent. According to the presidential press service, the mass migration of administrative bodies is intended to serve as a primary catalyst for establishing a robust business and commercial ecosystem in the new urban zone. Authorities are also evaluating mechanisms to sell off the vacated downtown government properties on the strict condition that they undergo only routine maintenance, strictly prohibiting any demolition or complete reconstruction.

At present, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Energy have already established operations within lightweight structures in the new district. Construction is actively underway on an additional nine buildings designed to accommodate roughly 2,600 employees from various state departments. The prime minister has been officially tasked with overseeing and streamlining the complex relocation timeline for all remaining government institutions to ensure operational continuity.

Alongside the administrative rollout, considerable emphasis is placed on residential and social infrastructure development. Plans are in place to commission 20,000 residential apartments in New Tashkent by the end of the year, providing modern living conditions for at least 70,000 residents. The leadership has underscored that housing must be accompanied by comprehensive commercial, educational, medical, and recreational amenities to guarantee a fully functional community environment from inception.

Furthermore, a major 55,000-seat stadium compliant with international FIFA requirements is currently under construction, slated to serve as a primary venue for the upcoming U-20 youth football world championship. During recent high-level discussions, officials also addressed the need to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles and streamline investor evaluation processes, noting that current procedures can be excessively sluggish and non-transparent when attempting to adapt master plans to viable business initiatives.
