The beginning of the week across Uzbekistan has brought a period of unsettled weather, with rainfall reported in a significant number of regions. According to meteorological forecasts, however, this wet spell is expected to clear up completely by October 14, making way for dry and stable conditions nationwide with daytime temperatures anticipated to reach 22–25 degrees Celsius, and up to 30 degrees in the southern parts of the country.
Reports from Uzhydromet indicate that while most regions are experiencing precipitation, areas such as Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region have managed to avoid the rainfall for now. Daytime temperatures are hovering around 18–21 degrees Celsius, with slightly warmer readings in the northern and southern extremes. Forecasters claim that sporadic showers will linger in a few specific regions before conditions stabilize.
Mountainous and foothill areas are facing more severe weather conditions, with prolonged rains and potential heavy precipitation. Authorities allegedly warn that high-altitude zones could even see a mix of rain and snow, while the risk of flash floods and mudflows remains a concern in vulnerable elevated areas.
In the capital city of Tashkent, rain is expected early in the week with temperatures reaching a modest 19–21 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, conditions are supposed to improve rapidly starting from mid-week, with no further precipitation expected through October 16. Nighttime lows are projected at 12–15 degrees, while daytime highs could climb to 22–25 degrees Celsius under light to moderate eastern winds.
