Pursuant to an order issued by the head of the Presidential Administration, Aziz Kurbonova has been appointed to the position of First Deputy Head of the Communications Department within the Presidential Administration. The announcement was officially made public by the spokesperson for the head of state.

Prior to assuming this new responsibility, A. Kurbonova reportedly worked at the Media Content Preparation Center, where she gained relevant professional experience in media and communication workflows.

In addition to this appointment, Khushnud Khudayberdiyev has been officially designated as the Deputy Head of the Communications Department. Before taking on this role, he had been serving since July 2023 as the First Deputy Director General of the National News Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA).
