Modern surveillance cameras have officially commenced operation along Lutfiy Street in Tashkent, designed to automatically record traffic violations, unauthorized stops, and illegal parking within dedicated lanes designated for public transport, bicycles, and personal mobility devices. The newly implemented electronic monitoring system covers a stretch spanning 2.4 kilometers.

The deployed technology is engineered to detect unauthorized vehicles unlawfully driving, stopping, or parking on these priority transit corridors. Upon detection of any infraction, the system automatically processes and issues fines to the registered owners of the offending vehicles without human intervention.

Authorities continue to remind motorists that even a single vehicle left unattended in a dedicated transit lane can severely disrupt public transport schedules, slow down commuter flow, and pose a direct hazard to passengers and micro-mobility users.

This initiative follows earlier municipal transport updates in Tashkent, which included the rollout of a new "Green Wave" traffic coordination corridor along Fergana Highway, where the operation of 13 traffic lights was synchronized across a 6-kilometer arterial road.
