A Tashkent region court has handed down a verdict in a troubling case involving a law enforcement officer's family, highlighting serious domestic and professional misconduct. The incident unfolded on May 10 in the official residence of a local prevention inspector located in the Pakhtazor makhalla of the Kuyichirchik district. According to case files, the inspector's wife arrived home unexpectedly with her children, using her own key under the assumption that her husband was absent, only to discover him unclothed alongside an underage girl.
The confrontation quickly escalated into violence as the enraged wife began striking the minor inside the residence. When the inspector intervened to separate them, the teenager fled outside, but the assailant pursued her, continuing the physical assault and kicks. Furthermore, the woman snatched the victim's mobile phone and smashed it to the ground. During the trial, the accused woman fully admitted to the battery charge, claiming she allegedly had no knowledge of the victim's minor status.
However, the court proceedings took a darker turn as the young victim came forward with severe allegations against the law enforcement officer himself. The girl testified that she had first encountered the inspector in March 2025, after which he purportedly initiated a pattern of systematic threats and coercion, repeatedly forcing her into sexual relations. She claimed that on the day of the incident, the officer transported her to his home in a service vehicle and subjected her to abuse just before his wife's unexpected return.
The Kuyichirchik District Court for Criminal Cases found the inspector's wife guilty under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code for intentionally inflicting light bodily harm. She was sentenced to one year and six months of corrective labor, with 20 percent of her earnings to be withheld in favor of the state, alongside a fine amounting to 20 basic calculation units.
Notably, authorities have released no official information regarding whether the prevention inspector himself faces any legal consequences or internal investigations in connection with the teenager's allegations of repeated sexual coercion. The silence surrounding the officer's potential culpability has sparked widespread concern regarding accountability within local security structures.
