President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Uzbekfilm studio complex to inspect the ongoing production of the historical feature film "Husain", which allegedly focuses on the childhood years of the legendary scholar and polymath Abu Ali ibn Sina. The cinematic project is being produced by order of the Children's Content Development Center.

To facilitate the production, massive set designs replicating the historical environment of the era were reportedly constructed on the studio grounds. The head of state examined the fabricated fortress walls, archaic streets, and marketplace squares, alongside historical costumes and props utilized in the filming process. The narrative supposedly centers on the formative years of young Husain ibn Abdullah, highlighting his early interest in medicine, humanistic ideals, and dedication to his mentors.

During a discussion with the creative team, Mirziyoyev stated that the state will purportedly continue bolstering support for national film projects depicting the lives of historical ancestors. Acknowledging the scale of the constructed sets, the president allegedly pointed out the necessity of authentically portraying history on screen to introduce the younger generation to the region's scientific and cultural heritage.

The production of the film "Husain" forms part of a broader roadmap extending through 2030, designed to thoroughly study and popularize the thinker's scholarly legacy. This foundational document reportedly encompasses preparatory measures for celebrating the 1050th anniversary of Abu Ali ibn Sina's birth.
