️ In connection with ongoing efforts to upgrade fire safety regulations across the country, new legislative measures have been officially endorsed. Under the updated provisions, vehicle gas refueling stations are now strictly prohibited from pumping liquefied petroleum gas, specifically propane, into residential or domestic gas cylinders. Authorities claim this restriction is vital for mitigating severe safety risks associated with improper gas handling.
️ To enforce compliance, amendments have been introduced to the Administrative Responsibility Code. Individuals or entities violating this prohibition will face financial penalties ranging from 3 to 5 times the basic calculation unit, translating to between 1,320,000 and 2,200,000 Uzbek soms.
️ The newly signed legislation is scheduled to officially enter into force three months after its publication. Officials expect this transitional period to allow stakeholders and the broader public to adapt to the stricter safety requirements.
